Pina Bausch (1940.7.27-2009.6.30) was born in Solingen, Germany. She started learning classic ballet and modern dance in Folkwang School in early age. After graduation in 1959, Bausch left Germany with a scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service to continue her studies at the Juilliard School in New York City in 1960. Her teachers included Antony Tudor, José Limón, Alfredo Corvino and Paul Taylor. She returned to Germany in 1963.

Yohji by Yohji Yamamoto is a Chypre Fruity fragrance for women launched in 1996. Later in 1998 and in 1999, YOHJI ESSENTIAL and YOHJI HOMME were released. YOHJI YAMAMOTO POUR FEMME and YOHJI YAMAMOTO POUR HOMME were then launched in 2004. However, the five fragrances vanished about 6 years ago.

Crow Magazine Vol.1-Shaker Style

Branched off from a Quaker community, Shaker is a religious group founded in the 18th century in England. Shakers settled in colonial America, after initial settlements in New Lebanon and New York. Shakers today are mostly known for their celibate and communal lifestyle, pacifism, and their model of equality of the sexes. At its peak in the mid-19th century, there were 6,000 Shaker believers. By 1920, there were only 12 Shaker communities remaining. There is now only one active Shaker village, Sabbathday Lake Shaker Village, located in Maine, USA.
